Naugatuck Valley Ear, Nose & Throat Associates Welcomes Renowned Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Expert Dr. Christopher Randolph To The Team

February 14, 2023. Waterbury, CT. – Noted Allergist and Immunologist Dr. Christopher Randolph, FAAAAI, is joining the otolaryngologist practice of Naugatuck Valley Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, located in Waterbury, CT. Dr. Randolph has just retired from the full-time practice of allergy immunology for 36 years at the Center for Allergy/Asthma and Immunology in Waterbury, CT.

Dr. Randolph is a Board Certified Allergist and Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Randolph is a Clinical Professor in pediatrics, allergy, and immunology at Yale University, where he instructed in the fellowship program in allergy/immunology for more than 30 years. He is affiliated with three Connecticut hospitals:  St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury Hospital, and Connecticut Children’s Hospital. Dr. Randolph received his medical degree from the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. He completed his internship and residency at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Then, he completed his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the State University of New York.

Dr. Randolph shared that he is, “delighted to join Drs. Winicki and Williams and Marissa Stankus P.A. at Naugatuck Valley ENT to provide AAAAI guideline-directed allergy and immunology services.”

Dr. Christopher Randolph’s area of particular interest and expertise is exercise-induced and sports-related asthma. Dr. Randolph attends national conferences, conducts lectures on this topic, and has over 20 publications on this subject. In November of 2010, Dr. Randolph was invited to the Tokyo international forum in Japan to speak on the effects of exercise asthma on athletes. Dr. Randolph is the chief editor of Practice parameter on Asthma in Sports, published by an international team of experts in December 2010. He served on the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Board of Directors. He was Vice Speaker for the House of Delegates of the College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. In 2010, Dr. Randolph became the President of the Connecticut Allergy Society.
