Marissa Stankus, MHS, PA-C is an experienced Physician Assistant with more than 15 years of clinical experience across otolaryngology, orthopaedics, and emergency medicine. She brings a patient-centered, detail-oriented approach to care, combining strong clinical judgment with a deep commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Marissa earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Sciences degrees from Quinnipiac University, where she completed her Physician Assistant training. Her academic foundation, paired with broad hands-on experience, has allowed her to care for a wide range of patients with complex medical and surgical needs.

Throughout her career, Marissa has worked in fast-paced clinical environments, developing expertise in the evaluation and management of ENT and musculoskeletal conditions. Her clinical interests include comprehensive patient assessment, perioperative care, and in-office procedures, with a focus on delivering thoughtful, individualized treatment plans. She is known for her clear communication style and her ability to build trust with patients navigating both routine and complex care decisions.

In addition to her clinical practice, Marissa is involved in education as an affiliated faculty member within the School of Health Sciences at Quinnipiac University. In this role, she supports and mentors future healthcare professionals, sharing practical insights from her clinical experience and reinforcing the importance of compassionate, evidence-based care.

Outside of her professional work, Marissa values time spent with her family and enjoys staying active, particularly through outdoor activities. Her dedication to lifelong learning, patient advocacy, and collaborative care continues to shape her work as a trusted healthcare provider and educator.
