Dana K. Cipriano joined Connecticut ENT Allergy & Sinus in 2002 as Practice Administrator, overseeing the daily operations of the Waterbury corporate office and the satellite locations in Southbury and Southington. From her first day, she brought a steady, organized presence to the practice and quickly established herself as a cornerstone of its operational foundation.

Over the course of her 24 years as Practice Administrator, Dana has remained deeply committed to three guiding priorities: driving organizational growth, fostering an exceptional patient experience at every point of contact, and providing consistent support to the practice’s providers and staff. Her leadership has helped Connecticut ENT Allergy & Sinus deliver high-quality ENT healthcare services to the Greater Waterbury community through a period of significant change and evolution in the healthcare landscape.

Dana’s professional expertise spans a broad range of disciplines critical to modern practice management. Her areas of strength include medical corporate human resources, HIPAA compliance, employee leadership and development, patient and employee relations, scheduling optimization, and day-to-day operational efficiency. This breadth of knowledge allows her to address challenges across multiple dimensions of the practice simultaneously and with confidence.

Before joining Connecticut ENT Allergy & Sinus, Dana built an extensive foundation through 23 years of experience in medical assisting, healthcare mergers and acquisitions, and managing internal medicine and specialty group practices throughout the community. During that time, she developed the versatility and depth that continue to define her approach to practice administration.

Among her notable accomplishments in those earlier roles, Dana played an instrumental part in establishing an internal medicine practice from the ground up. She worked closely with contractors and vendors to coordinate facility and operational needs, led the transition from paper-based charts to electronic health record systems, developed comprehensive office policies and procedures, and implemented workflow improvements that enhanced efficiency and staff performance across the board.
