Dr. James Williams, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon with over 30 years of experience specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. As a partner at Naugatuck Valley Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates (NVENTA) in Waterbury, Connecticut, Dr. Williams is dedicated to delivering comprehensive ENT care and advanced facial plastic surgical procedures to help patients achieve both functional and aesthetic well-being.

Dr. Williams began his distinguished medical career at Brown University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1986. He then pursued his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating in 1990. Following medical school, he completed his residency training in Otolaryngology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, a premier institution known for its excellence in ENT and head and neck surgery. Further refining his expertise, Dr. Williams completed a fellowship in facial plastic surgery, gaining advanced skills in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. Certified by the American College of Surgeons since October 2000, Dr. Williams has consistently demonstrated a commitment to the highest standards in surgical care. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and remains actively engaged in the latest advancements in both ENT and facial plastic surgery.

At NVENTA, Dr. Williams provides specialized care for chronic sinus conditions, allergies, ear infections, hearing loss, vocal cord disorders, sleep apnea, and head and neck tumors. His expertise in facial plastic surgery also allows him to offer rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, scar revision, and facial reconstructive procedures, helping patients restore both function and confidence.
